Both provide advanced query, drill-through and write back capabilities against Microsoft Analysis Services through a clean, easy to use interface.

The MAO Cube Explorer and MAO Excel Add-In work interchangeably - users can work with whichever program is more comfortable, yet still exchange data and queries.

AssassinCat also offers a MAO system development kit, aimed at developers who want to extend or modify the Cube Explorer or Excel Add-In, or who want to use the underlying components in entirely new applications.
